About WB "Brad" Jones
William “Brad” Jones is the founder and owner of WB Jones Construction. Many people ask what the “W” stands for — and the answer is simple: William. But around job sites and in the community, he’s always been known as Brad.
Born and raised in Bowie, Brad learned early the value of hard work, craftsmanship, and showing up when people count on you. Straight out of high school, he began a career in welding, gaining hands-on experience that would shape his future. Over time, he advanced into production management and later into corporate sales, building a well-rounded understanding of how projects are designed, managed, sold, and delivered.
In 2004, armed with that experience and a clear vision, Brad founded WB Jones Construction.
A Builder at Heart
Long before WB Jones Construction existed, Brad was already drawing. As a middle school student, he spent hours sketching buildings and cars — a passion that never faded. Today, that same creativity and attention to detail drives his work. Brad personally draws the floor plans and elevations for every metal building and barndominium the company builds, ensuring each project is thoughtfully designed and tailored to the customer.
What started with metal buildings and oilfield work has evolved into a wide range of services, such as Barndominiums, Gate Entrances & Fencing, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and Ranch Projects. WB Jones Construction is known for turn-key delivery, handling projects from dirt work to move-in, while fully customizing each build to meet the client’s needs.

One of the defining traits of Brad’s leadership is his hands-on involvement. He is onsite at nearly every project, almost every day. Clients don’t just see a company name — they see the owner, making sure the work is done right.
What began as Brad and one employee has grown into a trusted team of 10 long-time employees, supported by a couple dozen skilled trade contractors. Despite that growth, the company remains family-run, focused on exceptional quality, clear communication, and dependable service.
Family First
Brad is married to his wife Polly, and together they have two children, Hope and Brazos. When he’s not on a job site, Brad enjoys spending time with his family — the same values of commitment and care that guide his work also guide his life at home.
